Dining Room Photos

Is anybody else excited that this is Thanksgiving week?!!!   The kiddos are home from school, we had a major cold front blow in, my house is already decorated for Christmas and Im counting down the days till I can stuff my face with good food!!

This week Im sharing the latest photos of my dining room- taken by the very talented  Laurie Perez

Dining room full shot

Gold quatrefoil mirrors

These gold quatrefoil mirrors were a total score!  I found them a few years ago at a local Hotel Liquidators warehouse and bought them for under $30 each!!  Thinking back I wish I had bought more.  They had tons stacked to the ceiling!

Large clam shell

This large clam shell is from Z Gallerie.  I love filling it with different things throughout the season.  I filled it with silk orchids here.

The chandelier is Currey & Company and was one of the splurges for the dining room.

greek key trim drapery

I used a simple inexpensive linen fabric for the drapery and splurged on this greek key trim from Kravet.  I had my workroom line the drapery with blackout lining making these drapes hang flawlessly.  I truly believe that custom drapery makes all the world of difference in a space.  Its worth every penny!!

Antique hutch black and white graphic art

We inherited this antique hutch from my husbands grandmother and I love filling it will all my dishes Ive collected over the years.

black and white brush stroke art

And my “attempt” at black & white brush stroke art.  I had an old gold frame that I put it in and it instantly glamed it up!

Hope you all have a wonderful week and enjoy your families and yummy food!!

Thank you!! My hubby likes to take credit that the wall of mirrors was “his”idea. We’ll let him think that 😉

I have been eyeing those chairs at World Market but wasn’t sure how they’d hold up over time. Are you still happy with yours? Your dining room looks amazing!

    1. Amanda Eck says:

Hi Nikki- They are super comfy but the black does attract lint- so keep that in mind. We also do not eat in there all the time so that helps with the lint issue. I would say for the price they are worth it!

Amanda, this is really fabulous. It is proof positive that “money well spent” can often mean prioritizing for the biggest bang for your buck. I love that you’ve mixed high and low, and even DIY to achieve this totally glamorous look. And you diy’d in the right places too!! I love it. Congratulations!

The dining room and living room are beautiful. What a change from the before pictures. Love the combination of colors and your furnishings. Very well put together. Can you tell me the color of paint on your walls? Happy Thanksgiving.

    1. Amanda Eck says:

The paint color is from Restoration Hardware its called Stone- a great neutral color!

First up, big fan of your logo. Very chic. Secondly, how I have not been following you?! Silly me. Will remedy that pronto. Everything is beautifully executed, from the antlers to the pops of green and that fab quad of mirrors. But those lamps are particularly lovely. And I LOVE the Mary Mac trim on your ottoman in front of that gorgy greened up console. Bravo.
