Greetings friends!! Several weeks ago I had my photographer come shoot my living room & dining room and am finally getting around to sharing them here on the blog.
Lets first take a look at what this space looked like before:
This room has always been hard to arrange furniture in. I had tried several different arrangements and finally decided that floating the sofa between the living room & dining room was the best option. Although by doing this it did create this awkward wall between the windows, but the large Paris map has helped fill the space.
One of my favorite things in this space is the green chest. I bought it years ago from a local yard sale and originally sanded it down and added a gray wash to it. After living with the gray wash for a few years I decided I was ready for some color. I painted it with Pine Scent by Behr and added some brass hardware.
And of course the biggest transformation is my $10 ottoman! I had it reupholstered in a soft gray velvet and Mary McDonald trim. I also had my upholsterer add some castors to the bottom so its easy to move around.
I’ll share the dining room photos later this week and some fun local client updates as well!
Have a great week!!
