Greetings friends! I am excited to be able to share something Christmas-y on the blog. Since the BH&G holiday shoot I have to keep most of my decor under wraps. But fortunately they decided not to shoot my fireplace so I get to share it here with you all!
This year again, I kept it simple. Fresh cedar garland (that ,lets be honest, is looking a little crispy due to our Texas weather), a fresh cedar & bay leaf wreath, some antlers and a string of gold beads and there you have it!
The brass & lucite candle sticks are from West 23rd Vintage. The brass stocking holders are from Mayer Mill Brass and are super heavy! The fur stockings are from Target as well as the snowflake glass ornaments.
And you might have noticed our fireplace got a little face lift! We finally got around to having the ugly peachy-pink tile replaced with stacked stone. Here’s last years fireplace with the ugly tile:
much better no?
Im off to go wrap gifts! I hate wrapping presents and if I had my way they would all be stuffed into gift bags. Anyone else hate wrapping? Don’t get me wrong I do LOVE a beautifully wrapped gift, I just don’t want to be the one who wraps it!
