Hello friends! Can I just say- I -Am-Fried! Yesterday was the Better Homes & Gardens Christmas Ideas magazine shoot in my home. I have such a new found appreciation for magazine photographers, stylist, editors, etc…. the patience, time, and endless tweaking to get that one shot amazes me!! And makes me also feel unworthy to even own a camera- Im an aim, click, shoot,-we’re done kinda gal!
I tired not to hover too much over them while they worked their magic, but I did enjoy watching them in action!
some of my sneaky phone pics….
Sadly we will have to wait to see the final shots of the shoot till next year! Don’t worry I will make sure I remind you to go buy the magazine when it comes out – I promise to not be overly obnoxious about it! Being in this particular publication has a special meaning to me- it was my Grandmother’s favorite magazine and even though she lived on a very fixed income, it was her one and only splurge she would send to my mother & Aunt as a gift. She passed away a few years ago and I know she would have been proud to know my home was featured.
Ok- moving on to one of my recent E-Designs. It all started with these amazing green agate bookends from One Kings Lane (unfortunately they are no longer available now).
I’ve been loving accents with green lately and love how it works with the gray sofa and the SW Repose Gray walls.

I also wanted to thank Kristin from The Hunted Interior for including me in her 15 Stylish Bloggers Christmas Ornament round-up. Head on over to Kristin’s blog to see all the beautiful ornaments we picked!
