Hello dear friends! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Those of you who follow me on Instagram saw a sneak peek of this project and today I am happy to share the Before & Afters.
My client had recently purchased the sofa and Ikat print chair but was stumped with what to do next to pull the space together. Here is our design plan we presented:
The rooms awkward layout was open to both the kitchen, breakfast and entry. Due to the size and shape we were a bit limited to how the furniture needed to be laid out, but by adding a rug it immediately grounded the space and made it feel larger.
The client wanted to provide as much seating as possible because they often times entertained friends and family. We took some existing chairs and had them recovered in a charcoal fabric and placed them along this blank wall.
The set of mirrors help open the space up and also add some height to the room.
My favorite piece in this room is the marble top coffee table from Worlds Away.
And of course I love me some greek key!
The client wanted a very neutral space but also liked the idea of pulling in a dash a color so we commissioned Cyndy Aldred to create this beautiful abstract painting.
And because I know you all will ask- the wall color is Sherwin Williams Repose Gray. Its another one of my favorite go-to grays.
