Hello sweet friends! Sorry I have been so MIA lately. Between business travel, Spring Break and client projects I can barely find time to do my laundry, let alone write a blog post. One of my favorite clients contacted me earlier this year to update their kitchen. We finalized the countertops and backsplash this week and I wanted to share some updates with you.
Here is where we started:
The first thing we wanted to tackle was that dead space above the cabinets. Unfortunately most of the homes here in this area have this “dust collector” in the kitchen. My amazing carpenter came in and installed some “boxes” and trim to take it up to the ceiling.
Here are some of the changes we are planning to implement:
We will be painting the cabinets white and the island a charcoal gray. The counters are quartzite white macaubas and the backsplash will be this fabulous tile from New Ravenna

I am so excited about this project and can’t wait to share more with you! And of course now I want to gut kitchen! One of the many hazards of this job!
