Color Smitten: Blush & Stone

Hola friends!  The other day while perusing Pinterest I stumbled upon this image from a luxury hotel in Mexico, the Hotel Mirador.  Immediately my eye was drawn to the multiple shades of pink and gray, hence today I am color smitten with Blush & Stone.

Pink can be one of those colors that many shy away from for fear of feeling too girly, but done right it can be sophisticated and luxurious.

For instance, this space by designer Anne Hepfer, is a perfect example of sophistication and luxury.  I would even venture to say that this room could possibly be hubby approved.

The pinks and grays in this space from Cullman & Kravis are a bit brighter, but still feel avant-garde.

And Barry Dixon certainly knows how to make pink feel masculine.

One of the easiest places to infuse some blush tones is in the bedroom.  I love both of these spaces from Suzanne Kasler and Windsor Smith.

I’ve pulled together some blush & stone inspiration for you.  And I’ve already added that Hermes bag to my Christmas list, hey a girl can dream right??!
