Today’s Design Inspiration is all about animal print paired with yellow. Animal print, whether it be leopard, ocelot, zebra, or cheetah it all reads as a neutral in a space. Animal print pairs well with vibrant colors like emerald green , cobalt blue, red, fuchsia or in this case yellow.
I love this dining space with these cheetah print chairs and mustard yellow drapery from designer Melissa Miles Rufty.
These leopard print chairs flank a gorgeous chest, and the bright yellow mirror pops against the chocolate lacquered walls.
Design is always in the details and this yellow piping around these ocelot pillows is a perfect example.
There is a right and wrong way to incorporate animal print into your home decor, a little goes a long way. You definitely want to stay away from turning your room into a safari. In this space designed by Sally Wheat a leopard pillow adds just the right touch to the yellow sofa.
I love wearing any type of animal print as well. Again, a little goes a long way. And hello I need these leopard pants STAT! This is a perfect look for Fall.
Or how about a little leopard cardigan paired with a bright yellow skirt?
Or if wearing it feels a little too “wild” for you, how about lounging in this amazing wingback wearing a silky yellow dress?
So how about you? Would you or do you wear a little animal print? How do you feel about having it in your home?
